Regardless of the causes that originate them, there are procedures to prevent and treat.
What are they and how can we treat them?
Streaks, regardless of the causes that originate them: - growth, hormonal changes, pregnancy, weight variations or genetic tendency are always difficult to treat. There are beneficial topical treatments both in the treatment and in the prevention of stretch marks, which your Dermalologist may recommend.
Pink stretch marks, which are usually recent, generally improve with vascular laser treatments, which stimulate the renewal of collagen and elastic fibers.
White, more atrophic stretch marks improve less with this type of treatment, although they do improve a little.
Modernally, "fractional" laser treatments that can be used in anatomical locations hitherto difficult to treat with ablative lasers seem promising. It also seems useful to use an Ultra-Violet laser in this type of stretch marks.
